We are currently seeking a a mechanically inclined, experienced model maker / product finisher.
Responsibilities:
- Hand fabricate prototypes utilizing artistic and learned skills in a manner which best suits the needs of the client
- Finish prototypes to a high level of detail; involves paint color matching
- Coordinate projects delegated by management
- Develop/originate product concepts
Successful candidate will posses the ability to:
- Fabricate prototypes using various equipment including, but not limited to the following: vertical milling machine, machine lathe, vacuum forming equipment, CNC milling machine and various hand held and table mounted power equipment
- Gain the utmost confidence and respect of WhiteBoard’s staff, clients and vendors
- Understand WhiteBoard’s highly creative and technical processes and services
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and orally

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of model making and product finishing experience, machining and hand tool experience, excellent problem solving skills and outstanding customer service skills.

We are currently looking for talented Design Engineers to join our team, work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and grow with us.
Responsibilities:
- Create appropriate 2D and 3D CAD files utilizing learned skills in a format best suited to meet the project requirements
- Analyze various production techniques and apply them to each product scenario
- Meet with new and existing clients to develop design specifications
- Establish budgets, monitor, schedule, and coordinate projects
- Assist other WhiteBoard departments with CAD and engineering support
- Inform Engineering Department of new and emerging technologies
- Develop/originate product concepts
To succeed in this environment, you must possess:
- Superior Pro/ENGINEER or SolidWorks CAD skills (5,000 hours minimum)
- A strong mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanism development
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes ranging from injection molding to sheet metal and the materials associated with those processes
- A high level of CAD surfacing ability
- Knowledge of electronics and electrical systems (preferred)
- A natural ability to think on your feet with little direction
- Strong initiative and the ability to work with creative individuals (industrial designers)
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience developing product, either a two or four-year technical degree and an incredible appetite to learn.

The Packaging Designer should provide packaging expertise and oversight in concept development, design and implementation of packaging initiatives. This position works closely with Industrial Designers, Engineers and Model Makers to produce prototypes for manufacturing. Layout concepts utilizing software, optimizing product appearance, durability and cost; create drawings, specifications; implement techniques to minimize waste.
The Packaging Designer requires the ability to develop marketable ideas and translate design concepts into three-dimensional packages of all shapes and sizes. They must also be in tune with today's market and knowledgeable about competitive strategies to communicate the essence of a consumer brand, product, or service over a wide variety of mediums.
The position requires working on projects that are a mix of branding, graphic and 3D design, corporate identity, point of purchase design, and e-commerce. The designer must combine marketing information with an understanding of people, culture, and the consumer mindset.
The position works closely with clients and is responsible for all project management from preparing proposals, concept, design through to production and market launch.

The Art Director must work effectively within a team environment. The responsibilities of the AD includes working on a wide range of projects ranging from collateral, packaging, identity/logo, brochures, POP, signage, marketing materials, website and multi media presentations. The position requires proficiency in a variety design applications, such as the Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver, and PowerPoint.
The Art Director will be responsible for preparing quotes, project management and maintaining quality service to clients. Strong communication and presentation skills are required. The AD should maintain clear understanding of evolving trends in the market place as it applies to all forms of visual communications.
