Situation
Ecolab had developed a unique valve that would automatically aerate soap as it was dispensed. Providing users with pre-foamed soap meant they used less soap, thus reducing costs, supplies, and even maintenance. But to get the foaming soap into users’ hands, Ecolab needed a new dispenser. |
Solution
WhiteBoard realized the economic potential in this new technology. They also realized that a smaller-than-standard dispenser was possible since it wouldn’t have to accommodate as much soap. Economic in size as well as function, WhiteBoard designed a dispenser that was less awkward and able to fit in smaller spaces that previously went unused. This waste-not, want-not dispenser was a perfect match for Ecolab’s new valve technology, allowing pre-foamed soap to be introduced to the restaurant and hospitality industries.
