Situation
Safco, a company primarily known for office furniture and accessories, wanted to expand their foothold in the contract furniture market. They needed a training table that was versatile and intuitive enough to be used in multi-use business and institutional settings. The table would also have to compete in the interior designer spec marketplace, so materials, custom components, and aesthetic would all be major factors. |
Solution
Giving Safco’s training table distinction through thoughtful functionality was one of WhiteBoard’s prime objectives. The table features a quick-access cable management system that allows for efficient setup and teardown. The table top can be flipped vertically and nested together with other tables to save space in storage. The legs are custom manufactured from cast aluminum for a sculptural appearance. With strong sales out of the gate, the table helped pave the way for Safco’s growth in the contract furniture business.
