Minnesota Thermal Science (now known as Pelican Biothermal) identified a product gap for a medium duty container that offers durability over standard corrugate, yet well below the cost of the Pelican case option. The shipper needed to be light-weight with the ability to easily replace individual VIP panels when necessary. Collaboration between the design, engineering and production teams decreased the amount of labor it takes to assemble the shipper. The solution, a blow molded shipper that uses common panels and can be cleaned and reused, saving long term costs.
