WhiteBoard was asked to bring a fresh perspective to this occlusion system.  The team observed the current device being used and identified key opportunities that could help simplify the user experience and reduce part count and assembly.   Initial focus was on the mechanics of the device in collaboration with the Possis technical team.   At the completion of mechanical validation, the WhiteBoard team turned focus to ergonomics and Aesthetics.  The final challenge was to create neutral language graphic interface that would easily lead the surgeon through the five steps of operation.
